Website Design

2010
09.05

I just finished this layout. I really had fun, all parts were created in Photoshop and Illustrator. Yes…another wood grain…I just love textures!  But I think it fits the site. The client actually would like a more corporate design, but I had so much fun making it, I had to share.

Updating Adobe Suite: Exploring Acrobat 9

2010
09.02

My PC recently had a fried motherboard.  Now that things are up and running again, I am updating the Adobe Suite from my previous CS3 version. New in CS4 and CS5, is Acrobat 9. It seems like a quick and easy way to edit & update PDF documents for print or web. It has the capability to include Interactive elements within the document. Also, if you are sending items to be professionally printed, it gives the printer the capability to make last minute changes and adjustments. InDesign CS3 was able to do some of the same tasks, and export PDF’s as well. I think it will be an easier program to run if you are predominately working with PDF files. I am going to explore some of its features and let you know how it goes.

Icons for Powell Offset Printing

2010
08.26

What a busy summer! My blog and site has taken a backseat to other projects. One small project over the summer has been helping Powell Offset Printing, based in Austin, TX develop some icons and an online ordering form. I’ll post a link to the form when it’s live, but here’s a few simple images. Fun little project, all icons were made in illustrator. I will be posting some cms-php links soon! My internship has been going well too!
